The Fund is intended specifically to encourage and resource creative thinking and risk-taking about new work and projects that connect the local church to the wider community but cannot be funded from local sources.

Updated Listing2015-2016 Guidelines have been added- see grey 'Resources' box on the left

The emphasis is on supporting projects in new areas of work and providing some of the resources needed to try different types of mission in our parishes. It is not intended to be used for building projects, administrative or parish youth worker posts.

Updated ListingSince 2006, the Fund has supported nearly 90 local mission initiatives. Twelve new local mission initiatives were supported by the Aldhelm Mission Fund in 2015 alone. In addition to continuation funding for existing projects, over £95,000 was awarded, with awards ranging from £750 to £40,000.

Updated ListingNew projects included the Bridge Youth Project, the Kingfisher Project, the Archdeaconry of Wilts Life Exhibition and Prom Praise Wessex.
